Loom Room’s Perino shawls are made from the ultimate in luxury New Zealand made possum/cashmere/silk blended fibre branded as ‘Perino’. The yarn is milled by NZ company Woolyarns, in Lower Hutt and has the most beautiful handle we have seen.

We believe these shawls are hand woven from the very best quality fibres available in New Zealand today.

The warmth from the possum is exceptional and its softness cannot be surpassed. Our shawls are versatile because they are fine enough to wrap around your neck as a scarf when you need extra protection from the elements, and yet they have the width to open out as a functional shawl.
